MISSION STATEMENT:
ASU Process Specialist shall know chemical processes and have experience in air separation processes (distillation, liquefaction unit, etc)
The Process Specialist shall analyze the process parameters on a constant basis to anticipate upsets and energy losses. He will propose action plans (short - long terms) to improve and optimize the production unit in terms of reliability and efficiency while maintaining high safety and environmental performances.
He will participate to troubleshooting as well as to investigation process and MOC process.
He will support the production team by providing coaching and training, prepare adequate documents.
MAIN CONTRIBUTIONS:
1- Safety & Industrial Management System:
Actively contribute to the target “Zero Accident” by providing appropriate coaching to the operational and maintenance team through Behavioral Safety Audit, Safety Walks, analysis of process data.
Assess process modification (industrial safety, reliability, efficiency).
Improve the operational safety of plants by suggesting modifications and corrective actions.
Ensures that all modifications proposed and managed by him are duly performed in the frame of MOC Process.
Participates to the preparation or checking of Standard Operating Procedures.
2- Process :
On a regular basis, analyze the production parameters of the different production units in order to identify any deviation and propose immediate actions to restore the optimized performance of the production unit.

Provide support to the production team for troubleshooting.
Participate to incident investigation.
Participate to risk assessment related to modifications.
Participate to transverse working groups (Technical Platforms) in order to identify programs that could be deployed in the Subsidiary to improve the efficiency and productivity of production units.
Be the Technical Assessor / Validator in the field of Process
3- Reporting:
Prepare monthly analysis of efficiency performances.
Prepare annual analysis of efficiency performances and propose annual action plan.
4- Work experience :
ASU, HyCO
5- Technical expertise:
Process control, Distillation, Liquefaction, Steam Reformer
