E-Commerce Merchandiser

Summary Statement:
An enthusiastic bright individual who will assist with the online visual merchandising & trading of products across the website. The individual must have a knowledge of retail preferably within trade planning, sales, products and key trends, coupled with the understanding of customer needs to help maximize conversion and cross selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the e-commerce trading manager with the day to day website merchandising & trading of category.

Use Available sales reports & web Analytic tool to study sales trends, analyze customer behavior & merchandise the website accordingly.

Ensure Category is merchandised effectively to maximize sales & conversion.

Analyze sales & website performance data on a daily basis & identify opportunities for growth.

Liaise with marketing & commercial teams to ensure up-coming promotions are setup, merchandised & communicated appropriately.

Ensure the suitability and relevancy product recommendations across the site. Instigate and manage tests to optimize all recommendations.

Working closely with buying colleagues to improve communication and efficiencies between departments.

Working with the buying team & UX team to optimize the online navigation, taxonomy & filter structure.

Ensure tactical offers, promotions and campaigns are supported with appropriate categories and merchandising.

Regular audit of the website site to ensure accuracy and relevancy of navigation, product placement within categories; and identify opportunities for improvement.

Make commercial recommendations to messaging on homepage and other key positions on-site to improve trading.

Custom build product lists to support campaigns,

Assist in ensuring all products are beautifully and strategically merchandised across the site in Just In, category listing pages, designer listing pages, and trend pages.

Create special Online Campaigns to drive customer engagement, sales, conversion etc.

المهارات

University Graduate (preferably with a Major in Business or Marketing).

Preferably a Year of experience working within a multi-channel or e-commerce business.

Experience working in a retail setup & understanding retail sales concepts.

High Proficiency with Excel.

Knowledge of using Google Analytics.

Strong Communication & Presentation skills.

Data Driven, Analytical & critical thinking.

Proactive & Positive Attitude.
