Power System Engineer The candidate will act as Project Manager on the project’s needs. He/She will take part to the definition of project methodology and man/hour estimates and will work in close collaboration with our Chief Engineer. Hands-on knowledge of the power system study methodology including arc flash assessments, protective coordination, transient motor studies, harmonic studies, load flow, short circuit, electrical losses, stability studies, simulation of static and dynamic voltage stability, power quality measurements and audits, data collection, consulting and design services, troubleshooting, and problem solving relative to power distribution equipment. Interpret specs and customer inquiries and design technical proposals and pricing for customers. Self-management of assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates. Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Institution, focused on Electricity and power system. Registered Professional Engineer or eligible. Minimum of 4 years of experience as electrical power systems engineer specialized in power system studies The Power System Engineer will work out of the Riyadh office for assignments covering the entire GCC region, with casual travel outside of Saudi Arabia. |
