The Senior Programmer Analysts role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and existing software applications in support of Ministry requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Senior Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the software development life cycle. Technical: Proficiency in a Variety of Programming Languages, Including 7+ years of overall client/server and web applications programming experience Min 5 years’ experience in writing stored procedures and transact SQL. Advanced Visual Basic for Applications for MS Access 2010. Min 5 years’ experience working with ADO/DAO objects, ODBC and database design, including record sets in VBA and MS SQL Server 2008 Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education / Certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification (MCSD) is preferred in Windows Store Application track and/or Web Applications track. Having a MCSD in Sharepoint track is a plus. |
