•Major job responsibilities includes analyze the basic structural components of a building or other structure
•calculate the pressures, stresses and strains in structural members
as per specified loading and design criteria, liaise
liaise with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction
examine structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of. defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure
•make structures calculation, shop drawings, specifications and computer models of concrete and steel structures for building projects,visit site to resolve design issue and provide guidance to site management for structure related work
•perform design and drafting by using software like staad,SAP,SAFE,ETABS,AUTO CAD & etc
•Proficiency in English
•experience from 7 to 10 years in the same field
