Job Description Job Duration: 1 year contract Job Location: Riyadh or Jeddah - Saudi Arabia Job Responsibilities: -Responsible for all MCFM (Mission Critical Facility Management) ground and facility operations across all regions. -Act as a subject matter expert in managing the complete electrical and mechanical infrastructure of the critical facilities such as UPS/DC system , HVAC, Chillers, Environmental control, Power distribution, cable management, raised floor, airflow .etc… -Supervises the MCFM technical team to deliver the best quality services and maintain the site availability and stability. -Responsible for achieving the sites availability KPI and sites stability target. -Develop and enhance policies, procedures and best practices related to maintenance and operation of critical facilities. -Transfer knowledge to end user staff on how to implement and apply the best practice operating procedures and policies. -Develop and evaluate the MCFM technical team based on their contributions to site availability and stability KPI’s. -Monitor performance of the facility maintenance contractors and ensure that the work performed is accomplished effectively and efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption. -Contributes to the development of new ideas and methods to optimize critical facilities performance. -Establish a knowledge transfer MCFM Academy that trains end-user resources on how to fulfil their new day to day responsibilities and tasks associated with the facilities management and in achieving the needed level of operations maturity and resilience targets. -Recognise system design shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations. -Formulate and implement the preventative and predictive maintenance program related to the electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems. -Support site technical staff training to improve Datacentre knowledge and elimination of human caused interruptions. Education and Experience Required -Relevant degree and qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or equivalent in technical area related to mission critical facilities including data centres. -8-10 years’ experience in critical facilities construction, design, field engineering, testing or datacentre / central offices operations -Having in depth knowledge and good exposure to critical facilities operation -Holding one of the Datacentre Facility Operation Training Certificates -Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the facility’s electrical and mechanical critical systems -Very familiar with critical facilities international standards: TIA942, NEBS, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute Tier Level, RCDD. -Strong reporting skills. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills http://www.monstergulf.com/job-vacancy-mission-critical-facilities-manager-hewlett-packard-enterprise-jeddah-riyadh-8-10-years-21414518.html?sig=js-2—1&from;=𝔯=refine;loc=182;lmy=saudi,arabia;day=365;srt=pst;ref=http://jobsearch.monstergulf.com/search.html;show_omit=1;res_cnt=40&hlWords;= |
