JOB Objectives
- Manage computer software systems, servers, storage devices, network connections, firewall and antivirus application to ensure high availability and security of the supported applications. - Participates in implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure and maintain the consistence with company goals at general and IT Department at special.
Responsibilities
- Designing, installing and configuring internal and external facing servers, network devices and firewalls.
- Proactively managing and maintaining server, network and firewall systems
- Administering and supporting core Microsoft, Cisco and VMware technologies
- Designing and implementing monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
- Providing after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend
maintenance
- Assisting with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation on existing and new technologies
- Carrying out special tasks at Management’s direction- Interacting staff and services provider at the technical level, as required
Required Qualification
- Degree: Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or related preferred.
- Preferable Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification. - Preferable Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional -CCNA/ CCNP MCITP Server
Required Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2008/2012) /desktop Operating Systems (7/10)
- Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Servers or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
- Configure and implement MS Exchange 2010
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
- LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, …) - Defining and documenting best practices and support procedures
