The Business Development Manager is in charge of prospecting for new potential business, product, and market segment and turns this into comprehensive proposals and developing innovative solutions for customers that not only support the current product portfolio but also lead the business in improving those products and developing new ones.

Description
Keeping up-to-date with the region’s market trends, and economy and market Challenges. Understand company history and its desired destination so that will continual to enhance the company’s strategy achievements. Identifying and evaluating company’s resource and capabilities. Prospecting for new potential business, product, and market segment and turn this into comprehensive proposals. Building a value proposition to differentiate new business, Products and services from that offer competitors. Developing innovative solutions for customers that not only support our current product portfolio but also lead the business in improving those products and developing new ones. Planning and working with company’s teams, outside sectors, partners in developing required proposals. Handling objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately. Presenting and consulting with middle and senior management on business trends with a vision to developing new business, products, services, and distribution channels Building strong relationships with partners and new clients, Identification of their needs and present an image that mirrors the client needs. Participating in local exhibitions, promotion campaigns and product training programs for potential customers.
Submitting weekly progress reports and ensuring data accuracy. Presenting business development training and mentoring business developers and other internal staff. Participating in making financial budget and projection. Using tools to maintain partnership of new business database.
Profile
The ideal incumbent will have atleast 8 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in manufacturing and distribution sector with at-least 4 years in management position.Understanding of the KSA market, customer needs and translate them in to practical solutions.Fostering familiar relationships between clients and the sales teamFollowing up on client leadsBeing knowledgeable about products and services offered by the businessHighly developed social, interpersonal and communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
