1. Pre-sales Process
• Makes recommendations to senior management on business opportunities.• Carries out environmental scans of business architecture.• Recommends strategies to senior management.• Develops complex business cases across multiple business lines and platforms.
2. Products Knowledge
• Demonstrates detailed understanding of very complex products/services.• Implements conceptual solutions by designing services or products to meet client needs.• Uses product knowledge to anticipate future client needs.• Acts as a subject matter expert on own products/services.
3. Presentation
• Delivers arguments persuasively by employing a range of advanced presentation techniques (e.g. the appropriate use of body language, how to close a presentation so that the audience continues to think about the subject matter etc.).
4. Impact and Influence
• Uses understanding of competing interests to manoeuvre successfully to a win/win outcome.• Uses chains of indirect influence (e.g., get A to do B, which in turn will influence C).• Gains support by capitalizing on understanding of political forces affecting the organization.
5. Daily Operations
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work• Assists in other presales activities assigned by presales engineers• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of presales section to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
6. Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
7. Information Security
• Complies with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
