Duties and responsibilities
• Properly and safely operate and maintain equipment while following all health and safety standards.
• Utilize and check order sheets to finalize all orders on time and as per the bakery standards.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of decorated cakes at all times, including back-up cakes during holidays, national promotions and other peak cake occasions.
• Take and fill customer cake orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Be pleasant and alert to customer needs.
• Work as a “team” member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each customer.
• Clean work area, organize and stock needed items. Stock and execute proper rotation of products.
• Keep cake icing area and equipment clean and sanitary throughout shift using the icing area checklist.
• Coordinate with store management of cake decorating supply inventory.
• Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Use different types of icing as per Magnolia Standards.
• Conduct and perform daily cake icing to meet required supply for store and special orders.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management team.

Physical requirements
This job might require slight lifting and/or the usage of body power.
Direct reports
All positions present within assigned stores level.
• 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or bakery as a Cake Decorator.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working an International Chain.
• Perfect in English on all levels (Speaking, reading, writing), Arabic is a plus.
• Must be willing to relocate.
• Capable of working within a multinational team.
• Professional Certificates (HACCP, Food Hygiene, Leadership, Customer Service…) are a plus.
• Preferably but not necessarily a graduate of Culinary school.
