• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop high-level and detailed project plans that include technical and business requirements, cost estimates, timelines, potential project risks, and suggested mitigation strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage project plans and track project performance.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Participate in planning sessions with direct and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Prepare high-quality presentation materials, proposals, and other project-related documents; effectively chair meetings, and manage relationships.
• Use sound business judgement and independent decision-making abilities to accomplish project goals, sometimes with limited experience.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), IT Project Cycle, standard IT project management tools, IT software testing procedures, documentation standards, and other procedures and reporting processes designed to ensure implementation of technical projects on time and within budget.
• Display a commitment to following standards and participating in the continuous improvement of procedures by contributing new and useful templates, examples, and resource materials.
• Ensure integrity and adherence to hardware and software license inventories.
المهارات
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, or project management discipline
• 2-4 years in an IT discipline with at least 2 years’ project management experience
• Highly recommended PMP certified or similar project management certificates.
• Lean Six Sigma qualification desirable
• Process improvement and performance management
