1. maintaining quality and service standards for all employees.
2. ensure the total supervision of all food and beverage team members via a hands-on role.
3. maintain superior levels of food & beverage service to guests.
4. ensure that all team members’ product knowledge is at an acceptable level.
5. participate in the planning and conducting of theoretical and on-the-job training by creating manuals books
6. make sure that all restaurant items are in good condition & stored well and labeled with production & expiry dates.
7. maintain effective par stock levels for all products and expiration dates.
8. monitor all storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards of storage areas
are being maintained.
9. creating maintenance & cleaning check list by all existing units with its standard condition to supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of
the facility daily.
10. ensure the protection and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment
11. order the appropriate amount of food and beverage products in accordance with the established policies and procedures by the
managment .
12. anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires immediately to include special events like birthdays, anniversaries, and special
occasions.
13. control food quality and quantity as it relates to the operationa & cost control.
14- write all menus.
15. fully facility cost such as food cost & other operational cost with daily , weekly & monthly analysis.
16. maintain all restaurant staff and retain them effectively while retaining the operational cost.
17. ensure that all lost & waste items are fully recorded, clarified and kept under 0.5% of revenue.
18. maintain and record all food and beverage transfers to and from any section.
19. ensure that all petty cash items are signed and accounted for daily.
20. have a full knowledge of food and beverage, and practice all the occupational health and safety guidelines.
21. maintain an effective telemarketing and reservation system.
22. ensure all cashiering policies and procedures are followed.
23. complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner or by the due date.
24. maintain an open communications line to the executive chef, bar manager and o.p.
25. recruit new team members as required within the recruitment guidelines in association with the operation manager high management.
26. perform monthly stock takes for food & beverages items .
27. perform weekly & monthly inventory for operational tools such as cutleries , chinaware & the small tools.
28. ensure all possible controls are in place to deter any cash or stock losses.
29. give assistance to the sections when required.
30. attend and contribute to all scheduled meetings.
31. perform any other duties as directed by the operation manager.
