We are working with an expanding FMCG/Beverage company that is in a period of change and growth. They are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Director, to make a difference at the company in the strategically important market of Saudi Arabia. The role encompasses managing the customers’ relationship and sales team effectively to deliver the sales objectives/targets set. The responsibility is broad as you will be required to manage multiple key account relationships to further develop the brands and negotiate and execute the sales business plans. This role will have a lot of importance within the organization, reporting directly to the CEO and regular exposure to the senior management team, it is therefore critical you can communicate effectively, be confident and own your business performance.
The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for driving and managing the Company’s Sales Department and serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in sales and making strategic decisions. The SMD will design and implement a comprehensive Sale, Marketing and Distribution plan & identifying business opportunities, responsible for overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of the market conditions.
Works to develop areas such as sales management, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, including promotions, pricing, market research, and customer service

Coaching and Motivate Sales Team
Maximize Numeric distribution and Availability
Visibility and Trade promotion
Establish Communication and Relationship with existing and new trade channels
Communication with sales team all times of objectives, progress and future action plan

Experience and skills
To Succeed in this role, you will need;
• A bachelor’s degree, 12+ years of well-rounded sales and marketing and business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility- with a focus on sales and marketing expansion- as well as five years of experience in a leadership role. Well organized, adaptable and clear thinker.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi market is required.
• We’re looking for seasoned Sales professionals who have been through the ups and downs during varied states of the markets; having learnt to be a Solution Seeker!
• You will have the confidence to provide advice and education to sales team and customers
• Excellent skills /ability to lead manage and develop people, to ensure a high quality and highly motivated sales team to maximize potential and performance.
• Background in bottled water, beverage and a multinational FMCG industries is required.
