Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will have a bachelor’s degree in geology, petrophysics, or geophysics. Preferably, you will hold a master’s degree and doctorate.
You will have 10 or more years of industry experience. Preferably, this experience will have been acquired in an oil major or independent oil company.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of industry standard geoscience software packages.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Oil and gas field development planning, focusing on recoverable hydrocarbon fractions, and provide their commercial value.
Analyze well testing and hydrocarbon fluid properties, including formation volume factors.
Review and interpret data to determine the volumetric parameters.
Interpret original fluid contacts in wells and reservoir scales.
Use industry standard 3D modeling software, and have knowledge of reservoir drive mechanisms, simulation, and potential recoveries.
Project planning and management, report writing and presentation skills in English are essential.
