Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline from a recognized and approved program.
A master’s degree in career development, organizational psychology, human resource management, or a related discipline, is desirable.
You will have 11 years of experience in career development, with at least 5-7 years in career counseling, coaching, or a related field.
You will hold a valid, current membership and registration (license to practice) with an international professional association in career development and/or human resources.
You will also have wide experience in the human resource development field, including: guidance and counseling; organizational career development; assessment; capacity building; program and service management; consultation and coordination; research and evaluation; and the capability to carry out training needs analysis and demonstrate execution of development plans.
Good interpersonal and communication skills that include the ability to consult, council, present, and lead meetings.
Also preferred is experience in curriculum development and facilitation of workshops for colleagues and internal customers, experience of delivering training to internal stakeholders, and effective project management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Conduct one-on-one and small group career counseling for Saudi Aramco professional employees.
Facilitate career development workshops at key transition points across the career development journey of Saudi Aramco professionals.
Administer, use, and debrief career assessments to identify motivators, personality preferences, strengths, and aspirations.
Build strong relationships with line organizations’ HR business partners to grow knowledge and understanding of key business drivers, and co-create innovative career interventions.
Lead and coordinate career development projects supporting the delivery of high-impact career counseling interventions for Saudi Aramco professionals, against key performance indicators with regular reporting to management demonstrating measurable value to the business.
Provide careers-industry thought leadership, and research and write reports on career counseling services, industry trends, and best practices to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Support in the delivery of Educational and Vocational Guidance Practitioner Certification Program, informed by international best practices and aligned with Saudi national standards in career education and development.
Design customized career development programs leveraging online learning platforms and digital technologies, informed by international best practices design and adult learning principles.
Perform all administrative work related to the quality and standards of career counseling services for tracking and reporting purposes.
Represent the division in the field of career counseling at the national, regional, and international levels.
Provide career services to support the development of a skilled and competent workforce that drives innovation and creates competitive advantage.
Contribute to the delivery of the Corporate HR Strategy “Creating People Advantage,” critical to the Company’s success.
Be involved in the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of career and talent development solutions. These solutions include the use of competency frameworks, individual development plans, career development workshops, and one-on-one career counseling sessions.
Provide overall assistance, support, and information to young and experienced professional employees.
Liaise and work closely with HR representatives and management at various levels.
Perform supervisory or group-leading responsibilities and lead major projects, initiatives, and key performance indicators.
