Electrical Technician (Application Technician)
1. Diagnoses, troubleshooting and repairing plastic industry application machines and auxiliary equipment. Including Hydraulics, controls, PLC’s, AC/DC drives, monitors, temperature controls, panel views, conveyor systems, scale, instrumentation and electronics.
2. Responsible to do corrective maintenance work and troubleshooting for plastic machines such as injection molding, blow molding ,blown film extrusion, compounding and pipeline extrusion in addition to their auxiliaries and utilities.
3. Communicate with vendor and find the solutions for troubleshooting/ corrective maintenance.
4. Installs machines parts such as dies, molds and screws.
5. Installs, repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery, equipment, following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment: Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical codes and blueprints, using hand tools and power testers.
6. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment by following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
7. Diagnoses, Tests and repair malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, RMU, UPS and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
8. Diagnoses, Tests, Repair and Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, contactors, fuses, sensing devices, printed circuit boards, heating systems and motors.
9. May be required to hold electrician’s license.
