· Develops the Operations strategy, business plans, budgets and resources in accordance with the company overall strategy and direction.
· Oversees the development of adequate operations policies, procedures and processes to maintain efficient operational excellence in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
· Articulates mission, vision, objectives and KPIs for the operations function in line with company’s business plans and strategic objectives.
· Provides general operational directions to direct reports regarding the various aspects of Operations activities to ensure professional and timely provision of such services.
· Liaises with department managers within the operations function to ensure smooth flow of information, supports and timely deliveries of project requirements for both existing projects as well as new bids.
· Provides operational & technical direction to subordinates with regards to the various aspects & phases of the project to ensure professional and timely execution of the project within the allocated resources and budgets.
· Assumes complete responsibility of company’s projects related planning, execution and monitoring activities through managing all projects delivery in accordance to project set time, quality and budget.
· Reports and provides statistical and analytical consolidated reports to General Manager on company’s project progress, performance, issues, client satisfaction and financial position in order to facilitate decision making on critical financial and operational aspects within the company.
· Evaluates the degree of implementation of HS management system, HS plans and periodically reviews feedback on findings and improvement requirements.
· Ensures adherence to set corporate policies, procedures and guidelines related to HSSE/ Risk
Management, and ensures proper implementation across the projects.
· Ensures that all aspects of the QA/QC policy and procedures are properly implemented and ascertains that all project related work carried out by the company and subcontractors complies fully with the agreed-upon contract documents.

Oversees the projects resources optimization and utilization (Manpower and tools, equipments, machinery and other materials) throughout the whole company’s projects.
· Participates in hiring departments positions.
· Communicates and discusses the function’s guidelines and procedures with employees to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood.
· Provides guidance, support, leadership and management to the Operations function employees to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensures that all employees recognize their fundamental roles to achieve the company overall organizational objectives.
· Conducts annual performance appraisal to review employees’ performance, carries out disciplinary meetings when needed, recommends salary adjustments, rewards and promotions based on employee performance results.
· Monitors the adherence of operations function employees to the company’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
· Ensures effective departmental performance through the selection, development, deployment and motivation of competent staff.
· Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
