Fire Protection Engineer

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering, plus continuing participation in professional societies and seminars. A Professional Engineering certification in Fire Protection or advanced degree in highly desirable but not required.

At least 10 years of experience in engineering, five of which include addressing technical safety and fire prevention engineering issues, plus comprehensive knowledge of the hydrocarbon industry design and operational standards and practices.

Experience in the following areas:-

Developing and/or applying Engineering Standards related to safety and fire prevention in hydrocarbon and petrochemical facility design (e.g., NFPA, API).

Developing corporate policy and philosophy on fire prevention for Executive Management approval and implementing policy decisions.
