Chemicals Specialist

Job Description and Requirements
The candidate should have a Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or another technical equivalent degree; an advanced degree will be an advantage.

He should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the technical area of the lubricant industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be required to perform the following:

Identify and execute technical programs such as base oil interchangeability and base oil slates linkage.

Develop the optimal lubricant formulations. Identifying and monitoring formulations approvals (ATIEL, API, OEMs, etc)

Communicate and put plans with additive companies, industry groups (API/ATIEL), OEMs and external consultants

Define base oil specifications and controls of base oil products (Q&A;program etc.).

Advise technology and product trends, formulation development and trends, and potential leveraging improvements.

Develop lubricants formulations for different applications.
