Job Title: Middle East Office Translation Manager Location: Riyadh, KSA Reporting to: Director of Middle East Finance and Operations Company profile The company is an international management consulting firm providing strategy and management consulting services to a wide range of portfolio of clients in the public sector, non-profit organizations and fast-growing start-ups around the globe. ME Office Translation Manager will lead a team of in-house translators and manage a roster of external vendors to deliver outstanding Arabic-English translation services to the Middle East Office. He/she will be responsible for ensuring high quality standards in the provision of translation services to our consultant body as relevant for the delivery our services to clients. He/she will also lead the roll out of machine learning tools and platforms to strengthen confidentiality and efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities
Hire, develop and retain a distinctive pool of translators and translation coordinators
Source, assess and manage the performance of external vendors
Roll out processes and systems to improve translation quality, efficiency and confidentiality (e.g. machine learning, translation platform)
Gather regular feedback on translation quality
Manage translation costs to ensure high quality services in the most cost-effective way
Occasionally translate documents of high sensitivity
المهارات
Experience & Skills:
10+ years’ experience in a similar role, with prior experience as an Arabic-English translator
Experience with Management consulting services is a big plus
Experience with translation technology is a big plus
Strong service orientation
