Job Description and Requirements Responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project’s discipline engineers. Under direct supervision, may complete design assignments of limited to moderate complexity. Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline. Introduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures. Basic to intermediate understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents. Introduced to the process of performing material take-offs for the discipline. Minimum Requirements 5+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience Design and graphic visualization ability Strong urban planning theory ability Strong analytical skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Preferred Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or similar field and 5+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
