10-15 years experience in delivering large scale complex projects with demonstrated experience in Data Center Infrastructure Design .
Must have design knowledge for creating the following design for at least a Tier III Data Center or above design. Space planning
Power and Cooling assessment requirements for the data center
Designing Mechanical and Electrical Systems within the Data Center
Designing the Structured Cabling systems and Containments
Designing Safety and Security Systems
Must of knowledge of Data Center and Standards and best practices like TIA942, BICSI, Uptime, TUViT, ASHRAE Data Center Certifications like Uptime Tier Designer, TSI Professional, RCDD
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
المهارات
Manage and create design of datacenter white space which includes: rack layout, hot/cold containment, network infrastructure, branch circuit distribution, power requirements, cable Pathway, and projected build phases. Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to deliver project design criteria and develop Basis of Design Coordinate with key internal teams to establish requirements and work with customer to ensure requirement are met Participate in development of data center facilities requirements documentation Research new designs, materials, and construction methods for data center electrical and mechanical equipment and related components Create, develop, and maintain datacenter infrastructure site documentation, including floor plans, rack elevations, and cable matrices Review and evaluate RFI, RFP, and RFQ submittals Travel to new and existing datacenters for engineering analyses Meet critical deadlines for project schedules Participate in project coordination meetings, and clearly communicate any necessary or recommended updates to project scheduling
