Assist the system integrator during the set up of Cloudera cluster for all the critical environments: Dev, Test, Production, Exploration, and Backup
Review and validate the data platform configuration and apply the appropriate fixes to improve performance and security
Validate the correct configuration of the data platform backup and replication
Assist the system integrator during the setup of the network infrastructure
Optimize parameters and apply patches for diff Hadoop components
Manage all Hadoop core and additional components deployed in NDB environment
Perform periodic housekeeping and health checks of data platform
Apply best practices on data platform for all components
المهارات
Experience setting up and administrating Cloudera data platform
Experience configuring and tuning Apache Spark
Experience implementing and sizing all layers of technology architectures: networking, storage, computation
Knowledge of Cloudera platform and components like Cloudera manager, navigator, BDR, ..etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Cloudera CDH Admin Certified
2-3 years experience in managing Hadoop platform
3-4 years experience in managing operations
