The MEP Project Manager position is responsible to successfully plan, manage, execute, complete and handover multiple MEP projects related to energy efficiency, energy performance contracts and retrofits for large hotel projects, high rise towers, and other commercial facilities. The key responsibilities include ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staff, as well as subcontractors and sub consultants. Delivery of high-quality, turn-key energy efficiency and renewable energy projects both in office, and on site.
Establish and manage the financial expenditure budgets of all the projects and monitor costs to ensure compliance with the planned expenditure and achieve targeted bottom line of the entire business of MEP contracting.
Handling HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing works of high rise residential / commercial buildings, as well as hospitality projects in contracting company of repute.
Utilizing all of Company’s resources including all Operating personnel (Staff and Workers) and movable/non-movable Assets, Suppliers, Sub-contractors; interacting with Consultants, Clients, various Statutory authorities etc; plan, establish overall project plans objective, master project schedule and financials including project budget and work with the Client/Consultant to ensure satisfactory delivery of project.
Select vendors and manage vendor activity and performance to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the project viz. costs, standards and schedule. Manage consultants for various projects including the entire design process from the concept design stage through the final designs.
Establish and manage the financial expenditure budgets of the project and monitor costs to ensure compliance with the planned expenditure.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, safety and environmental issues. He must be able to resolve project problems and complaints and act as a point of reference for techno-commercial issues.
المهارات
At least 10 years post qualification experience in the MEP field
A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
English as a first language would be preferable but it is essential to have a technical command of the language
3 years minimum of working on building projects is the GCC
