Required Restaurant Manager for Five Stars Restaurant
Direct, manage and coordinate all restaurant’s areas, operations, activities, managers, supervisors, and staff.
Plan and direct all food preparations and culinary activities.
Coach and Train restaurant’s managers, supervisors and staff.
Plan menus for all food outlets in the restaurant, and ensure that menu recipes are followed.
Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, Labor, & overhead costs.
Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food operations.
Determine, check and ensure production schedules, staff req., quantity and quality of received products.
Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays.
Monitor, schedule and coordinate the work of chefs, cooks and other kitchen employees to assure that food preparation is economical and technically correct , satisfied and within budgeted Labor cost goals.
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
Rectify arising problems or complaints; and maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness & safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
Recruit, manage and supervise kitchen staff and their activities; and perform administrative duties.
Any other required responsibilities and related tasks that can be directed by the direct manager.
