Identifying improvements opportunities.
Participating with the CEO in setting short- and long-term business strategies for achieving the company’s objectives.
Setting budget for the Department in coordination with the Finance Department to be submitted to the CEO for review and approval.
Controlling the financial performance of the Department and keep it within the set budget.
Setting, cascading and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the Performance of sections and units under supervision.
Technical Duties:
Provide in-depth business & technical strategy for systems solutions, identify business gaps and correlate to potential solutions.
Ensure line of business priorities and IT capabilities (technology and resources) are aligned according to the company Policy.
Oversee the development and implementation of business solutions to achieve business requirements and the IT strategy for the Company.
Manage and take responsibility for the third line support of the applications that the firm utilizes. This will involve the line management of internal and external resources.
Develops and maintains strong, long term relationships with clients, ensuring needs are anticipated, expectations managed and feedback sought based on the company Policy.
Introduce all necessary security measures to ensure that data Systems are secure from data loss or misuse.
Develop systems as necessary to meet changing business needs.
Provide training and advice as required to users of information Systems to ensure that they make the best use of those systems.
Assist other departments in the risk assessment of new products and services.
Develop and implement a Business Solution strategy to support the financial and business objectives of the company.
Establish and maintain all necessary Business Solution procedures and ensure that all systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.
Provide a source of advice to managers and staff on Business Solution issues.

Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.
Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned personnel in the Human Resources Section
Working with the company Training and HR Departments on team building and succession planning for IT & Business Solution Dep.
Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company
