Role purpose
Manage the day to day facility operations of the club and be part of a high quality, motivated team to deliver a first class member experience
Operations
Oversees all aspects of the day to day facility operations of the club, including cleaning, maintenance, safety and security, personally is required to do 3 full walk rounds.
Ensure the club has relevant check lists and standard systems to ensure high levels of cleanliness, maintenance and security.
Manage the third party relationships for cleaning, maintenance, laundry and others.
Monitor and report on all key aspects of their responsibility and investigate ways to improve.
Ensure the club and all equipment is always well maintained, clean, safe and complaint with brand standards
Support with project management elements of the new club, take the lead in logisitics and manpower planning for the new projects.
Support the General Manager in identifying top line and bottom line opportunities within the P&L;Track consumable usage and ensure that key consumables are reordered in a timely fashion.
Manage and control core operational supplies are “stock managed”
Support all colleague and tea members to ensure the have ll relevant materials for an exceptional member experience.
Responsible for the completion of some administrative tasks and reports
Ensure club compliance with health and safety legislation, including hazardous substances, fire safety, first aid certification and cover etc.
Perform Manager on Duty Shifts, when the General Manager is unavailable or off shifts.
Big picture” thinking, which is key to addressing top-level concerns and finding the best path forward from all of the available data
Interpersonal skills - an Operations Manager must communicate with both executives and staff employees in order to create and administer policy
A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles, which allows the Operations Manager to assess the company’s earnings and spending to find areas for improvement
Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions as well as in finding the best solution to organizational dilemmas
Adaptability, enabling the Operations Manager to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which are essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects
Productivity, make sure that you have daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and yearly plan and tasks to achieve, as well as your team, your hourly performance is matter and accumulated in yearly base.
Budgeting, wisely and properly manage your department budget. And make sure to reduce the department and club cost specially the electricity and other club supplies, along with maximizing the club income.
Reporting, Report directly CORE General Manager any operation accidents.
Recruitment, make sure your department is complete all the yearlong, Hire the best candidates, train, and engage them into the team.
Development, train and educate your team in weekly departmental meetings as well as one on one meeting, and provide your team with all needed educational materials and updated recourses such as courses, books, magazines, websites, researches and articles.
Team Building, To build a team that understand and believe in teamwork and sharing activities, encourage your team to be part of the company bigger team as well as increase their loyalty.
Evaluations, Submit quarterly and annual performance evaluation, along with regular monitoring and inspection on the different shifts, and ongoing calls if not in duties to make sure the operation is working properly
Delegation, specifically assigned responsibilities to subordinates who can be then considered for promotion to management level positions.
Support, and Assist in coordinating all necessary actions, events, meetings and procedures involving spa employees and members as requested by the top management.
Administers, the Company’s policies and procedures “As part of the CORE management team” ensure that all operation staff is adhering to the CORE policy, including uniform and nametags at all times when on duty, submit the monthly team schedule 5 days before the begging of each month including your schedule and the Duty manager schedule in faire rotation to cover all shifts during the week and fair rotation for weekends.

Deal with member issues and complaints in a professional manner with particular regard to the area of responsibility.
Be accountable for the cleanliness and Maintenance of the member experience.
المهارات
Experience in managing fitness & Spa product , operations, and sales within a luxury gym environment, preferably as a Centre Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager
Operational experience within a customer facing environment, preferably from a luxury background
Management experience and exposure to leading, coaching, developing and supporting high performing fitness teams
New opening and pre-sales experience is highly desirable
REPS Level 2 or 3 certified (or equivalent qualification)
Understanding of performance metrics including P&L;, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, labor management and facilities maintenance
Strong sales and customer service skills with proven results
Excellent communication skills with the willingness to be approachable to members & staff and a genuine interest in tackling & resolving member issues
Outgoing, engaging, fun personality with a hands-on approach to leadership and ‘ownership’ mentality
In depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and regulations
