Role responsibilities:
• Preparing Spares, Equipment s, Machineries, Process Chemical and Raw Material Duty Exemption Lists DEL - (Describing common descriptions, Commodity translation and customize Harmonizing System Code with regard to Saudi Customs Tariff Classification.
• Preparing annual & individual Import Chemical Permits for Raw and process chemical Shipments.
• Prepare the Supplementary Exemption for None Exempted items not involved in the annual list. (as per Rules and Regulation of MOC&I;).
• Translate the paper work of Chemical Shipments Documents for Customs Clearance purpose.
• Essential background for Freight, INCO/delivery, payment terms, shipping Lines, vendors, Freight Forwarding services, trucking companies, Customs Boarders, Customs Brokers, physical inspection procedures inside Customs yard.
• Intervene with the Clearance of Hazmat Chemical items for Governmental formalities to be cleared according to IMO Rules & regulations.
• Describing the Plant & Project P.O s. Line Items to avail Customs Duty Exemption List.
• Approving the Final Copy Documents prior to Legalization.
• Applying H.S.Code against common Description for import shipments have no exemption.
• Be in touch with the concerned service providers to handle the Governmental issues in Riyadh such as Industrial License (new or expansion), CR (new or Branch) as the supply chain / Chemical background is mandatory during negotiation with the Authority concerned party.
• Saving Customs Duty thru availing Exemption Activities for all inbound Feed Stock, Hazmat, Machineries, and Equipment & Spare Parts Shipments with full co-ordination with Saudi Ministry of Commerce & Industry, M.O. Interior and FDA.
• Monitoring Raw material DEL, packing, intermediate, Reagents, Samples, Trial orders , Chemical shipments / orders
• Handling Import Chemical Permits thru all Kingdom Boarders for all IMO Classes Shipments with compliance to United Nation IMO & IMDG Code.
• Translate the paper work of inbound Shipments for Customs Clearance purpose & advising Customs Brokers for Exemption & Customs Duty Status
• Settlement/ Reconciling the Refundable Duty with Finance Schedule.
• Preparing the Direct Claims to refund the Customs Duty paid on deposit (Direct Claim).
• Reporting to Section Head on weekly basis concerning the in-charge topics.
• Essential background for Chemical & Mechanical Processes of the production units which is fundamental to make it familiar between Global CAS # / HS Code & Companies / Factories Annual Exemption for the Plant Requirements of Feed Stock, Raw, Machineries, Equipments & Spare Parts.
• Check shipping documents are corresponding to the PO in quantity, price description etc.
• Generate a monthly Tracking Report for auditing purpose. In the event of anticipated delay in delivery, inform the commodity buyer.
• Maintaining a log-book for shipment files submitted for claim and refund process.
• Preparation of monthly report for inbound shipments (Local, Air & Sea) shipments for claiming purpose (if any).
Qualification and Requirements:
• More than 3 Years experience
• Bachelor s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering/Supply Chain/MIS
