The opportunity
Project: SEVEN is developing 20 Entertainment Complexes in 14 cities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using a playbook of standardized design approaches to guide the design process of each complex according to its catchment spending power, target market demographics and site-specific characteristics. Mace is providing the portfolio management, working collaboratively with them to achieve from concept design to detailed design stage in establishing a robust foundation to allow effective progress into the later development and delivery stages.
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking design manager to join our established and growing team in KSA.
Your responsibilities will include:
•
Developing the clients brief, design strategy, procurement and execution of the scheme.
•
Organising and chairing design reviews and facilitating the value engineering of design consultants solutions.
•
Ensuring a cohesive design management process is adhered to throughout all stages of the scheme.
•
Monitoring the compliance with the project brief.
•
Monitoring the progress against the project scope.
•
Scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points.
•
Organising and managing technical review team resource and input.
•
Managing the design process, not personally responsible for delivering design or hands-on producing design.
About you
With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in design management on major programmes or projects that have incorporated theme parks and entertainment complexes.
