Job Description and responsibilities:
• Rich technical experience working in Teradata and CLDM
• Good experience in working in the Telecom domain
• Good understanding of one or more telecommunications lines of business (Prepaid/Postpaid Mobile, Fixed Line, Broadband and TV) including the CDR/EDR processing cycle, and key processes in the Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS and BSS)
• Responsible for creating, and maintaining, conceptual, logical and physical data models defining information requirements for management and business intelligence purposes
• Demonstrable experience using data modeling tools - e.g. Erwin
• Ability to write the Teradata SQLs and Oracle SQLs for the data analysis in the warehouse and source systems for data analysis and data profiling
• Experience in working with Teradata Communications data model ( CLDM ) or Sound business knowledge of any Telecom industry data model for data warehouse.
• It would also be nice if the candidate has experience working with Agile Methodology.
• Evaluate existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
• Experience in Maintaining a model repository considering the frequent changes in the system
• Demonstrable experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining all documentation for data models
• Work with Business Analysts, Data Architects, Software developers, DBAs to achieve project objectives - delivery dates, cost objectives, quality objectives, business customer satisfaction objectives, etc.
• Experience in Generating data definition language (DDL) used to create the database schema
• Ability in Creating a model to correspond to each environment
• Experience in Synchronizing models to ensure that database structures match models
• Ability to work in the dynamic environment and providing relevant DDLs to the development team with testing for the change deployment
