Job Summary:
Undertaking market intelligence activities almost to the point of obsession to collect information regarding the market, categories, customers, consumers, shoppers, trends, and analyzing this information to create an informed story which can form the basis for developing existing and new innovations to exceed the expectations of consumers and contribute to revenue and profit growth initiatives.
Passionate for quantitative and qualitative research, massive curiosity to understand the psychology and behavior behind the research with ability to develop this research into real “added value” insights.
Data driven approach, build and nurture relationships at all levels internally and externally to optimize research strategy and acquisition of data through both formal and informal approaches. Continuous market, product, trends, consumer and shopper observations, responsible for the development and reporting of compelling insights from multiple sources (customers, consumers, shoppers, retailer, financial, EPOS, Nielsen, Kantar, tracking tools and focus groups). Build strong relationships with all relevant internal and external parties.
Identify, prioritize and develop processes to enhance and effectively scale our research capabilities and information gathering continually increasing the depth and quality of our data.
Active involvement in new innovation agenda, utilizing data driven decision making tools and controlled testing environments to study new innovations pre/post launch. Building on the learnings to drive smart growth initiatives and product enhancements.
Exert superior customer, consumer, shopper, market and business insights to bring competitive advantages, enhanced revenue growth and maximized profitability. Own the stakeholder’s insights agenda, be the “voice of the customer, consumer and shopper”
