Recruitment specialists help their companies or organizations fill vacancies by evaluating candidates and building networks of potential recruiters. They share many duties with recruiters but take a more practical role in evaluating a candidate’s CVs and credentials. In many organizations, hiring specialists work with recruiters and hiring managers to conduct screening interviews and determine which candidates will be called back for further interviews.
Recruitment specialists may help develop and publish job listings in order to recruit high-level talent. Increasingly, recruitment professionals are also using social media and other web-based services to network and identify high performing applicants for jobs within the organization.

Identify potential candidates
One of the main tasks of a recruitment specialist is to identify potential hires based on applicants’ resumes and vacancies. The Recruitment Specialist works closely with department managers and HR professionals to identify critical situations and examine applicant information (including resumes and social media sites) to identify candidates who meet or exceed job requirements.
Screening interviews
Recruitment specialists meet directly with job candidates for screening interviews. In these interviews, the recruitment specialist asks a series of questions to determine whether the applicant possesses the skills necessary for the role and whether he appears to be a good fit for the organization. The recruitment specialist then makes recommendations to the hiring manager
