Opportunity Summary:
The Commercial Manager will develop risk assessments and pricing structures for products to work toward commercial efforts. Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Financial Controlling will be important aspects of this job. The Commercial managers will be responsible for overseeing staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term for running and future contracts.
Analyzing the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost for all projects.
Managing budgets, expenses and pricing, and commercial arrangements for all projects.
Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts.
Coordination, monitoring & compiling of Contract negotiations.
Checking of incoming draft contracts and working on the internal drafting of the contract.
Providing input for external price reviews by public clients.
Designing plans for cash flow and payment security in large sales projects.
Data acquisition, maintenance, and evaluation of the offers in the acquisition portal.
Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.
Partner with business managers to drive finances.
Supporting the Sales and Marketing department performance by analysis of identified commercial opportunities.
Preparing models to assess future profitability of opportunities.
Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise.
Ensure that all commercial corporate guidelines are adhered to.
Taking care of the project controlling and the monitoring of run-time and budget.
Preparing monthly project discussions and creating project reports together with the project managers.
Support in the case of deviations within the scope of the project implementation order to offer the management team a basis for decision-making based on your deviation analyzes.
You support the project management in risk management as well as in contract and supplement management for subcontractors and clients. Responsibility for preparing the liquidity planning and thus contribute to ensuring the liquidity of the projects.
المهارات
Skills:
Professional Accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or management.
Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis.
Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law, pricing & project controlling.
Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships.
Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
Advanced negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent numeracy skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
Required Experience:
5+ Years of industrial experience, preferred in ship production and/or ship operation.
8+ Years of commercial management/project controlling experience and have worked with a team on a complex industrial project.
