Job Description:
Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests in chemistry, haematology, and microbiology laboratories; receiving, typing, testing.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties :
Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labelling; sorting specimens; checking labelling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery.
collects blood samples from patient using the best method in drawing blood
practices proper patient identification, label vials with patient names and dates
Performs centrifugation of blood samples
Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifies equipment function
Identifies and communicates abnormal results to the appropriate personnel
Maintains a safe environment in the working place.
Maintains patient’s confidentiality.
Follows the facility policies and procedures
Wears the appropriate PPE while on duty. keeps work surfaces clean and tidy.
Preforms other duty as needed
المهارات
Two years in working at a laboratory services, haematology, chemistry, and microbiology
current Registered Home Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required.
Self-motivated and high organizational skills Ability to work under pressure. Excellent in English Language.
