Job Location : Riyadh
Job Description :
Control and coordination of Design development of Fire & Life Safety Systems .
Coordination with the design team to follow up design work progress and compliance regarding
the milestones/deadlines requested by the client.
Design Verification , Review and approval of documents submitted by the design team.
Detect design needs to ensure the proper development in al aspects.
Technical , Conceptual and Interpersonal skills are necessary.
Ability of Planning ahead , decision making and leading the search for solutions to problems that
arise during the design development.
Coordination with GDCD Consultant.
Coordination with GDCD.
Leading the process for occupancy permit.
Requirements:
Computer knowledge: Facilities programs (e.g. CYPE). Auto CAD. Microsoft Office (P. Point, Word, Excel, Project). Aconex, valuable. Knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Systems NFPA Standards: Among others: NFPA 130 (trainways and station specific requirements), NFPA 5000 (general fire safety code), NFPA 750 (standard on water mist fire protection systems).
Knowledge in these standards is valuable: NFPA 101 (general escape provisions). NFPA 88A (car park specific requirements). NFPA 220 (structural provisions).
Saudi Arabia Burding Code (SBC), Section 801 Fire Safety. Saudi Arabia Ministry of the Interior General Directorate of Civil Defence Requirements (GDCD requirements).
5-10 Years experience in Railway Projects and facilities design coordination, systems interface and work delegation.
Experience controlling and coordinating teams.
