OVERVIEW: Reporting to the PR and Communications Manager, the Communication and Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of dynamic and creative concepts, primarily in print and electronic media (including interface design) in the context of business and technology, and conveying our institutional aims and services. The role has primary responsibility for managing our providers for the website, written communications, and social media. JOB PURPOSE: This position will work closely with external providers to design images and templates for internal and external needs and will develop visual and written content to deliver clear, consistent messages, and quality materials about the organization in a variety of mediums. The ideal candidate for this role has strong experience in incorporating design elements and using branding and visual mediums to tell a compelling story. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically savvy communicator who enjoys creating digital content as much as they enjoy building relationships. The position will also share responsibility for writing copy for product literature, email campaigns, the company website, advertisements, blogs, case studies, videos and materials as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee development and content management of the FII website, social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), brochures and other print materials, internal communication vehicles (newsletter, blog, annual reports, etc.), news and public relations, and external advertising campaigns and communication activities.
