Purchases Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Purchase the Company’s material and services according to the purchasing procedures to ensure smooth working flow.
• Interview vendors and visit suppliers’ plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices.
• Negotiating prices, quantities and delivery time-scales.
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
• Ensuring that products are delivered on time
• Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
• Looking out for price fluctuations in the market place
• Monitor vendors dues are paid in timely manner in order to maintain and enhance the given credit facility.
• Prepare accurate reports.
• Arrange (In accordance with warehouse and project management teams) with customers and supplier for delivery and collection.
• Oracle Back ground is a pulse.
Requirements and skills :
• Proven experience as logistics coordinator
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
• Saudis (male or female) Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Fresh Graduates or 0-2 years of experience in a related discipline.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
