Objectives:
Our client, a publicly listed fitness center based in Saudi Arabia & UAE. They are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The candidate main role will be monitoring and managing the daily activities of the financial planning and analysis function, including forecasting, modeling, analyzing, and reporting the fitness center financial performance in order to support the senior and top management teams in making operational, financial and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Developing the Section’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the Department/ Division’s objectives.
Supervising the implementation of the Section’s plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance objectives and suggesting any necessary actions to the Department’s Head.
Participating in setting the Department’s budget, in addition to monitoring and controlling expenditures in coordination with the Finance Division.
Monitoring and contributing to the financial modelling process to ensure that realistic and appropriate forecasts are made with regards to the fitness center financial performance. In addition to ensuring that the model is organized, clear and concise, and submitting reports to the direct supervisor accordingly.
Overseeing and contributing to the process of analyzing the fitness center financial and non-financial performance, by assessing the cost-efficiency of each department, overall financial health, profitability and others, while providing subject-matter expertise as needed.
Assisting the fitness center Cost and Budgeting section with preparing the annual budget plan for the upcoming period by providing input with regards to the performance of the previous periods’ plan.
Overseeing and contributing to the preparation of the company’s business performance report by analyzing general patterns and notes on actual performance and identifying any changes or deviations from the annual plan, potential risks or any aspects that need to be addressed.
Evaluating whether the fitness center current assets and investments are the best use of the company’s excess working capital, by looking at return on investment (ROI) and comparisons with other ways the company might utilize its cash flow.
Submitting reports on the company’s financial performance and communicating results & recommendations to the direct supervisor for improvements and to help in the decision-making process.
Keeping up with industry trends, and making studies or scenarios on how such trends would affect the fitness center financial and non-financial performance, and reporting the results to the direct supervisor.
Contributing to the process of developing the fitness center financial planning and analysis policies & procedures in a way that guarantees enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of related operations, and submitting reports to the direct supervisor accordingly.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or any related field.
Minimum 8 years in a related field, of which at least 2 in a managerial position.
