Working as advertising assistant requires a lot of skills and most of all creativity. An advertising assistant has many duties and responsibilities and is in charge of the daily advertising activities. Advertising assistants usually work in departments such as media, production, promotion, research and creativity. In small companies, they are constantly moved from one department to another because these companies have fewer employees.
Main responsibilities
• Helping the advertising manager to develop advertising campaigns and assist him on daily advertising activities
• Help the advertising manager to establish the annual advertising budget
• Become familiar with networking configuration, extend knowledge and use advanced technology
• Make Power Point presentations and present them at company meetings or clients meetings
• Elaborate marketing strategies and participate in the implementation process
• Use the media services for advertising
• Handle client communication
• Monitoring the events and accomplishing targets
• Place ads in current publications, purchase advertising space on radio and television and deliver ads and commercials to the media on time
