-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
-Experience engineering telecommunications solutions using VoIP and IP-PBX switch technology
-Experience transitioning an IP PBX environment to VoIP
-Experience with IPTelephony, Data Networks, IP-PBX, Contact Center Solutions
, SIP and QSig.
-Experience with IP Telephony protocols, including SIP, H323, and MGCP
-Advanced understanding of TCP/IP is required, including the ability to perform and analyze packet captures.
- VoIP experience is required, with an in-depth understanding of SIP Peering and Trunking.
-Experience configuring and maintaining open source SIP software including patching, upgrades, logs, debugs and virtual traces
-In-depth understanding of open source VoIP software (Freeswitch, Asterisk)
-Ability to perform SIP debugs, capture and analyze SIP and RTP to isolate and resolve issues
-Significant experience with Linux, VLANs, IPSEC, LAN/WAN routing, NAT/PAT, voice services, firewalls, failover
-Knowledge of Apache, MySQL administration
-Linux +, RHCSA, or RHCE certification or related Linux administration experience
- Good command of English
