Reviews and revises legal documents and contracts as received from all departments, generated internally or externally, to ensure Mezzan’s interests and rights are protected and to avoid any legal repercussions;
Prepares and reviews contracts and other legal documentation from a legal perspective to ensure that Mezzan’s interests are well protected and submits to the Head of Legal Department for approval;
Conducts requisite research on legal related matters and develop timely analysis/ reports as directed by the Head of Legal Department;
Recommends changes where necessary to all business processes and practices and ensure their compliance with laws and regulations governing Mezzan;
Initiates legal action on behalf of Mezzan Holding to protect the Company’s interest and recommend actions to defend the Company in any legal cases filed;
Assesses the necessity of instituting, or maintaining any legal action, whether in court or otherwise, as a further mechanism to protecting Mezzan’s rights;
Monitors legal cases, and judicial orders in courts and prosecutor’s office and follow-up these cases with Mezzan’s external legal agencies;
Represents Mezzan before government institutions and courts of various jurisdiction, as necessitated;
Develops a database of external law firms that Mezzan Holding can approach for legal support and opinions when necessary;
Coordinates with legal agencies and review legal opinions as provided to ensure alignment with Mezzan’s best interests;
Assists the Head of Legal Department in executing legal activities and act on his behalf when he is absent;
Assists in monitoring changes in government laws, legislations and regulations in countries of operation, and initiate relevant actions to ensure compliance and mitigation of potential legal risks to Mezzan Holding;
Amends items on the articles of association and submits to the Head of Legal Department approval;
Assists in preparing appropriate legal solutions for risk mitigation and legal compliance management;
Reviews the opening of new client accounts based on credit sales and approve according to the company guidelines in force and submit to the Head of Legal Department approval.

High ability of communication skills to exchange information, tact, diplomacy.
High level of attention to detail.
Requires to allocate work as a team leader who check on completion, quality of subordinates work – Legal Assistants;
Requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information;
Job is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
Qualifications:
2 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Good verbal and written English, Arabic skills; Arabic speaker is a must
Good understanding of procedures and concepts within Legal Department.
Good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures to be used in Legal.
